Dr. Gaston Dumais received his medical degree from the University of Montreal and served residencies in the field of Dermatology at the Presbyterian Medical Center and St. Luke's Hospital, College of Physicians and Surgeons, Columbia University in New York City.

He is board certified in Dermatology, a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons (Canada), a Fellow of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Laser Surgery (1986).

Dr. Gaston Dumais dermatological practice is medical as well as surgical.

However, since 1980 his orientation towards skin Laser Surgery and Cosmetic Medicine has given him the opportunity to meet with many world-wide recognised physicians involved in Cutaneous Laser Surgery.

Dr. Gaston Dumais is amongst the Canadian pioneers in skin Laser Surgery and is regarded as an experienced Laser Surgeon, having performed more than 100,000 laser procedures.
